The Story Behind The Wave
During one of his East Coast surf trips, internationally recognized surf artist Drew Brophy visited Spunky's Surf Shop in Fort Pierce, Florida. Inspired by the welcoming surf community and the shop's history, Drew painted what would become The Wave—a colorful piece that captured the spirit of the ocean and the friendships formed around it.
What started as artwork on a surfboard quickly became one of Spunky's most beloved designs. Today, The Wavesymbolizes adventure, good memories, positive energy, and the simple joy of spending time by the water.
