Refund policy

Returns

Our return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return or exchange, we require a receipt, invoice or order confirmation. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. We do not accept returns for products that are:
- Gift cards 
- Watersport goods
- Intimate or sanitary goods
- Hazardous materials
- Flammable liquids or gases 
- Some health and personal care items
- Clearance items

There are certain situations where partial refunds may be granted or restocking fees will apply based on our sole discretion:
- Any item with obvious signs of use

- Any item not in its original condition,
- Any items that is damaged or missing parts

- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
- Sale items


Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. If not agreed differently prior the refund will be your initial payment, minus any return shipping costs and fees. If applicable we reserve the right to deduct a restocking fee and/or any withheld payment processing fees up to 5% of the purchase value.

If you haven’t received a refund in a matter of time after you have been approved and notified, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company or bank, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@spunkyssurfshop.com.

Promotions
Promotions are not redeemable for cash, nor are they applicable toward previously purchased merchandise. Promotional offers not valid on Gift Cards. 

Clearance items
Clearance a items are final sale. Clearance items can not be returned and refunded.


Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@spunkyssurfshop.com and send your item to:

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased or bought using a gift card, you’ll receive a gift card for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received and accepted, a gift card will be emailed or mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Boards
We provide any help, opinion, time and knowledge needed so you as a customer will get the board that does best fit your request. Take your time before placing an order, and request additional information, pictures or statistics, either from our store staff, via chat, email or phone. Due to the nature of waterport all board sales including Surf-, Paddle-, Skate-, Surf-Skate, Bodyboards and Skimboards are final. Boards leaving the shop are considered used and are therefore not part of our refund policies.

We do provide insurance for online board purchases and related shipments leaving the shop or our warehouse. Please check our shipping policies for our comprehensive service related to shipping damages and the special terms and conditions. Note that online board purchases are not part of our return and refund policies.

Process
To return your product, you must ship the item to: Spunkys Surf Shop LLC, 1403 North US Hwy 1, Fort Pierce FL 34950, United States. You should consider using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. If not agreed differently prior in writing, you are responsible for paying all shipping fees (including insurance) to return the purchase back to us and are responsible for ensuring that no damage to the product/s happens during shipping. You are responsible for any and all damages which occur during your return shipment, if you choose to use a carrier not specified or provided by us prior to the return. Damages occurring from an unauthorized carrier in no way alleviate your responsibility to us to return a product in complete, unused, and undamaged condition. In this event, you are responsible for filing a separate claim with the carrier to recover any damages incurred. Free returns are only available for qualifying orders within the US excluding Alaska, Hawaii and the Territories.

Shipping
Free shipping is only available for qualifying orders within the US excluding Alaska, Hawaii and the Territories. Free shipping will be UPS Ground, or USPS Priority Mail (at the discretion of Spunkys Surf Shop LLC). Overnight shipping & express shipping will be paid in full by the customer. Oversized items such as Surf-, Body-, Skim-, & Paddleboards and Bags are not included in our free shipping policy. Other restrictions may apply. 

Cancellations
You can request the cancellation of an order prior to shipping. Once your request is received, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received the request. Even if you have not received a shipping notification or a tracking number we can not guarantee that the order can still be canceled as we ship from multiple warehouses. We will notify you if your cancellation was approved or if your order is already shipped. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. If not agreed differently prior, the refund will be your initial payment, minus any handling costs and fees. We reserve the right to deduct such costs and/or any withheld payment processing fees up to 5% of the purchase value.
