One More Wave July Beach Meet Up
Catch the Waves of Camaraderie at the Fort Pierce North Jetty: One More Wave Monthly Meet-Up!
This past weekend, we had a fantastic turnout at the Fort Pierce North Jetty for our monthly One More Wave meet-up. The sun was shining, the waves were perfect for small summer swells, and the beach was buzzing with energy. A bunch of great people came out to show support, share stories, ride the waves, and fill the morning with laughter and camaraderie.
One More Wave's mission is close to our hearts. They provide wounded and disabled veterans with customized surfing equipment and a supportive community to surf with. By equipping veterans and connecting them to a global network of surfing volunteers, One More Wave empowers them to heal through surf therapy from coast to coast.
If you’re a veteran who loves surfing, paddling, or bodyboarding, this is a 🔥FREE🔥 club to join. Surround yourself with like-minded local vets and beach lovers, and experience the healing power of the ocean. For more information on how to join fill out the get involved on the One More Wave website!
If you're not a veteran or active military no worries! You can still join us and be supporter! We have a wide variety of members from sup surfers, surfers, body boarders and beach lovers!
Join us every third Saturday of the month from 8am to 11am at Fort Pierce State Jetty Park. It’s a perfect way to kick off your weekend with some fun in the sun and waves!

Stoked on Life
We were thrilled to have Stoked on Life Palm Beach join us to share the stoke and spread their positive energy. Stoked on Life's mission is to harness the power of ocean and surf therapy to improve mental health and well-being. Their evidence-based approach combines the therapeutic elements of the ocean with the adventures of surfing to enhance mindfulness, build self-efficacy, and activate the “Flow state.” By addressing mental health and substance use disorders, surf therapy reduces cravings, anxiety, depression, and PTSD symptoms, while also alleviating insomnia and improving cognitive concentration. Using the Groundswell Surf Therapy™ curriculum, Stoked on Life creates safe and brave spaces for individuals to reclaim their healing, power, and sense of belonging. Their trauma-informed team of licensed therapists, surf coaches, and volunteers welcome participants exactly as they are, honoring each person’s journey toward self-love and surf sister/brotherhood. It was an incredible experience to see our communities come together, riding waves and sharing in the transformative power of the ocean. Learn more about Stoked on life visit their website!
